We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a supportive mainstream school team. You will be working with pupils who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and Education, Health and Care Plans. The role involves helping pupils with a range of learning, communication and sensory needs so they can fully access school life.

Your role and responsibilities:
• Promote inclusion and positive relationships across the classroom
• Support pupils in small groups and one to one, adapting to individual needs
• Help create engaging learning opportunities under the teacher’s direction
• Assist with planning, delivering and reviewing learning tasks and activities

Requirements:
• Recent and relevant experience supporting children and young people
• Experience working with individuals with SEND
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to follow guidance from the class teacher while contributing as part of the wider team
