Job Title: SENCo
Location: Hemlock Stone School, Stapleford, Nottinghamshire NG9 8GA
Salary: £35,000.00 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

Hemlock Stone School is launching a new specialist provision, and we are seeking an experienced and passionate SENCo to join our team. This role is designed to ensure high standards of SEND support for our pupils.
About The Role
As SENCo, you will play a key role in developing and implementing SEND provision across the school. Working closely with the Headteacher and therapy team, you will ensure pupils with autism, complex communication needs, and emotional needs receive tailored support.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of the school’s SEND policy and inclusive practices
* Guide graduated approach and interventions for SEN
* Collaborate with teachers, families, and external agencies
* Monitor and review SEND provision effectiveness
* Contribute to school development as part of the Leadership Team

You’ll Need To Bring
* UK QTS (or equivalent)
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND, especially autism and complex needs
* Leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills

* Strong safeguarding and inclusive education commitment

About Us
Hemlock Stone School in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire, is a new Options Autism School opening in March 2026, with capacity for 66 pupils, catering for pupils with ASC and Complex Needs. With over 16 years of experience, Options Autism provides care and education for individuals with autism and learning difficulties. Part of Outcomes First Group, we lead in setting innovative approaches that deliver measurable outcomes.
