Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technician Vacancy in Nottinghamshire!
1. Salary: £43,000 – £50,000 Basic (Depending on Qualification Level & Experience)
2. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift | 45 Hours Per Week
3. No Weekend Work
Our client, a well-established and growing commercial vehicle business, is looking to recruit a Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technician to support fleet customers across the Nottinghamshire area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV or LCV Technician who enjoys working independently, visiting customer sites, and delivering first-class maintenance and repair services.
This position can be based from either the Nottingham or Mansfield branch and offers excellent career development, manufacturer training, and long-term job security.

Responsibilities as a Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technician:
11. Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles
12. Diagnose and rectify faults using modern diagnostic equipment
13. Attend customer sites and depots to support fleet maintenance requirements
14. Complete inspections, vehicle health checks, and defect diagnosis
15. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements
16. Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet customers
17. Deliver excellent customer service at all times
18. Manage van stock, tools, and equipment effectively
19. Complete all relevant documentation accurately
What Our Client Expects from Their Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technicians:
20. Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or LCV Technician
21. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
22. Experience working independently and managing workloads effectively
23. Knowledge of servicing, inspections, and repairs on commercial vehicles
24. Excellent communication and customer service skills
25. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, IMI, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
26. Full UK Driving Licence
27. Experience in a mobile technician role would be advantageous but is not essential
