Are you passionate about helping people live independently and confidently? Join our Sensory Support Team and play a vital role in supporting adults with vision, hearing, or dual sensory loss across the East Riding.
As a Sensory Technician, you’ll:
Deliver practical, person-centred support in homes and community settings.
Assess sensory needs and provide assistive technology (e.g., amplified phones, alerting systems, magnifiers).
Train individuals and carers in safe equipment use, helping them stay independent and safe.
Work closely with Rehabilitation Officers, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and local partners.
What We’re Looking For:
1. A practical, problem-solving approach and commitment to person-centred care.
2. Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with people who have sensory loss.
3. Basic technical skills for installing and demonstrating equipment (training provided).
4. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (if essential car user).
