Role Overview
Are you an ambitious healthcare professional ready to step into a leadership role and shape an evolving service? We have an exciting secondment opportunity to join and lead our newly formed Community Rehabilitation Team.
As the team leader you will establish the culture, processes and impact of this new multidisciplinary service and provide a clear pathway for your career progression into management.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a dedicated multidisciplinary team of occupational therapists, psychologists and support workers; provide clinical leadership, managerial and supervisory responsibility.
* Collaborate with community mental health teams and a wide range of partners (GPs, other mental health services, learning disability services, social care, physical health services, primary care professionals and voluntary sector organisations).
* Deliver assessments and interventions within adult community mental health services and ensure a patient‑centred rehabilitation pathway.
* Balance active clinical work with the supervision and development of staff, determining workload distribution in line with team size.
* Assist the clinical manager and work with other team managers to continually develop the service and ensure the delivery of an effective Community Rehabilitation offer.
