Were working with a well-established food manufacturing business in the Malton area thats continuing to invest heavily in its site and engineering function. Due to ongoing growth, theyre looking to bring in a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician to support production, drive reliability, and play a key role in improving site performance. The Role This is a hands-on engineering role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Youll be responsible for keeping production running efficiently through a mix of reactive maintenance, planned maintenance, and continuous improvement work. Youll also be involved in supporting new equipment, improving existing processes, and working closely with production to drive performance. Key Responsibilities Carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance across site Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems Supporting the delivery of the site PPM schedule Minimising downtime and improving equipment reliability Assisting with installations and continuous improvement projects Working closely with production to maintain output, quality, and safety standards What Theyre Looking For Multi-skilled engineer with electrical and mechanical experience Ideally apprentice trained or Level 3 qualified (NVQ / C&G / HNC) Experience within food or FMCG manufacturing Strong fault-finding ability and a practical mindset Understanding of PPM systems, OEE, and continuous improvement Someone who takes pride in their work and contributes positively to the team Whats on Offer £45,000 £46,000 salary Monday to Friday shifts (no weekends) Rotating mornings and afternoons Ongoing investment into site and equipment Supportive team environment with opportunity to develop Why This Role?
