This role is open to both qualified Teaching Assistants and enthusiastic candidates without formal qualifications who hold a current DBS on the Update Service.

About the Role
* Support pupils across a range of ages and abilities, including those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
* Assist class teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
* Provide one-to-one and small-group support to help pupils build confidence and key learning skills.
* Encourage positive behaviour and promote an inclusive learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to meet individual needs.

We’re looking for someone who is:
* Patient, caring, and enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning.
* Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to different school environments.
* Confident working with children of different ages and backgrounds.
* A team player with good communication skills.
* (Bonus) A Welsh speaker – this would be a great advantage but is not essential.

Requirements
* DBS registered on the Update Service (mandatory)
* References covering the past two years
* For unqualified candidates: willingness to gain experience in a school setting and pursue relevant training
* For qualified candidates: formal Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualifications (EWC registration can be supported)
