Customer Service & Production Administrator Our client is one of the UK’s leading independent specialist steel suppliers, renowned for producing high-quality concrete reinforcement products. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Customer Service & Production Administrator to join our team and contribute to our continued success. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Answer incoming calls to the office promptly, professionally, and courteously, ensuring that customer queries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner. Quotations & Orders: Build and input customer quotations into our specialist software system, ensuring they are followed up, converted into orders, or moved forward as needed. Accurately input customer orders and purchase orders onto Sage, producing all associated paperwork for processing. Job Packs: Collate and file paperwork from production to create complete job packs. Ensure job packs are filed correctly once production is completed, ready for invoicing. Stock Management: Book in stock deliveries on Sage insuring stock accuracy. Assist with stock takes as required Accreditations & Compliance: Ensure that documentation for our accreditations ISO9001 (CARES), ISO14001, EN1090 is completed as needed, with full training provided. E-commerce: Manage orders from our eBay store and website, preparing items and documentation for dispatch via couriers. Ad-Hoc Duties: Assist with various tasks as directed by the senior management team, contributing to the smooth running of the business. Essential Skills & Qualities: Reliable & Honest: A dependable individual with excellent timekeeping and a strong sense of integrity. Customer-Focused: Possess a confident and friendly telephone manner, with the ability to interact professionally with customers in person. IT Proficient: Experience using Sage, as well as strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. A good understanding of manual calculations is also required. Thrives in a Fast-Paced Environment: Comfortable working in a busy and dynamic setting, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
