This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cardiac nurse specialist team on a secondment or fixed term contract to cover maternity leave for 9 months with a view to a future permanent position.The team is made up of highly skilled Cardiac Advanced Clinical Practitioners and Specialist nurses in electrophysiology, heart failure and acute coronary syndrome. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cardiac Nurse Specialist to join our service at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.The team supports all aspects of patient flow through the Cardiac department from admission to discharge including management of the outpatient pathway and on going patient support. As the successful candidate you will have experience in the management of patients with Cardiac conditions requiring timely intervention. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.The position will require the post holder to work in variety of settings within the Cardiac directorate but the main purpose will be working and supporting the heart failure team.
