Role Overview
Event UK is a dynamic and growing company delivering high-quality contractor management for Cleaning, Gardening, Security, and Entertainment. We are looking for a proactive and personable Senior Customer Support Representative to join our team. This role supports a variety of services and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and growing within a supportive environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers, ensuring smooth operations through excellent communication, accurate data handling, and efficient service coordination.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle customer bookings and schedule services across departments
• Respond to queries from both customers and suppliers via phone and email
• Confidently manage incoming calls with professionalism and clarity
• Input and maintain accurate records in our bespoke MarketPlace system
• Register new suppliers and update their profiles as needed
• Process and match payment requests and upcoming job schedules for suppliers
• Source and book entertainment services as required
• Provide general administrative support to the wider team
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Verification of Contractor Costs: Ensure accuracy and legitimacy of contractor costs.
• Query Resolution: Resolve any queries related to costs, payments, and invoices.
• Payment Reconciliation: Reconcile payments to record transactions accurately.
• Provide exceptional support to clients, addressing their concerns and queries promptly.
• Customer Costs: Handle the processing of customer costs efficiently and accurately.
• Admin Support to Team Lead: Assist the team lead with administrative tasks and support the overall team operations.
Person Specification
Essential:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• Strong IT skills, particularly with Advanced Microsoft Excel
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• A helpful, kind, and customer-focused attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company
Desirable:
• Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role
• Familiarity with CRM or booking systems
• Interest or experience in any of the service areas (Cleaning, Gardening, Security, Entertainment)
