As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the Retail Branch Manager in driving store performance, inspiring your team, and delivering an exceptional experience for every customer. Responsibilities
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations, from front-of-house to warehouse
2. Leading and motivating your team to deliver outstanding customer service
3. Managing rotas, payroll, budgets, and stock to keep the store running smoothly
4. Driving performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
5. Representing the store during high-profile visits and showcasing best practice
6. Support multi-skilling so colleagues can flex between counter, picking, delivery support, and local outreach activities to build trade relationships and community connections.
