We are currently seeking a skilled MOT Technician to join our client's reputable automotive service centre in Maldon, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to work in a well-established garage with a focus on quality service and customer satisfaction.
The successful MOT Technician will primarily perform MOT testing while also undertaking servicing, maintenance, and general repairs. This varied Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role offers the chance to utilise your technical expertise in a supportive environment.

1. Competitive basic salary of up to £42,000 depending on experience
2. Optional overtime available on Saturday mornings

Duties:
6. Conduct MOT tests in accordance with industry standards and regulations
7. Perform routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles
8. Diagnose mechanical issues accurately and efficiently
9. Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
10. Complete relevant documentation and reports efficiently
Requirements:
11. Relevant qualifications as an MOT Tester and Technician
12. Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive industry
13. Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics
14. Good organisational skills and attention to detail
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
