The Role: The Energy Consultant role sits between lead generation and closing and carries a higher level of ownership and responsibility. You will take qualified opportunities beyond initial identification, develop a deeper understanding of client requirements, and work closely with Corporate Pricing Specialists to progress opportunities through pricing and negotiation. This role is target-driven and you will be measured on pipeline quality, opportunity progression and revenue contribution from day one. What You Will Be Doing Day to Day: ☎️ Engaging directly with business decision makers through outbound and follow-up conversations Acquiring, reviewing and validating commercial energy bills (gas, electricity and water) Conducting structured discovery to understand client needs, renewal timelines and decision criteria Preparing and submitting fully qualified, pricing-ready opportunities for multi-supplier tendering Working closely with Corporate Pricing Specialists to support pricing, negotiation and deal progression Maintaining accurate, compliant CRM records in HubSpot Working towards pipeline, quality and revenue targets from day one Collaborating with Sales, Operations and Finance to ensure smooth deal delivery What We are Looking For: Proven B2B sales experience in a target-driven environment Comfortable managing longer sales conversations and opportunity progression Strong organisation and attention to detail Confident communicator with business decision makers Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot or similar) and Office 365 ⚡ Professional, ethical and commercially aware approach Experience in commercial energy is beneficial but not essential. Strong sales discipline is expected and previous experience evidenced.
