We’re looking for a compassionate Teaching Assistant fluent in British Sign Language (BSL) to support a secondary-aged pupil with hearing loss at a welcoming school in Stockton. This is a full-time role starting in September, perfect for someone who thrives on one-to-one support and meaningful connection.

What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting a pupil who communicates primarily through BSL
* Helping them access learning across the curriculum
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt lessons
* Creating an inclusive, engaging environment
* Championing the student’s confidence, wellbeing, and independence

About you:
* BSL Level 2 (or above) – essential
* Experience working with children or young people
* Calm, patient and great at building rapport
* A team player who’s proactive and positive
* Able to adapt and problem-solve in the moment
