As we strive to enhance our passenger experience and expand our operational capabilities, we are seeking talented and experienced Non-Executive Directors to join our Board.
Role Overview:
As a Non-Executive Director at Doncaster Sheffield Airport, you will bring your expertise, insight, and governance experience to drive our strategic vision and ensure accountability. You will provide oversight & provide strategic leadership to the executive team in order to shape the future of the airport while safeguarding the interests of stakeholders and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the development of the airports vision, strategy, and policies.
* Provide independent oversight and strategic contribution to the Board.
* Monitor performance and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
* Challenge and support the executive team in their decision-making processes.
* Engage with stakeholders to promote the airport and its initiatives within the community.
* Bring commitment to our values of sustainability and community engagement.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Previous experience as a Non-Executive Director or in a senior governance role is highly desirable.
* A strong understanding of the aviation industry, business development, or related sectors.
* Proven track record of strategic thinking and ability to challenge and advise.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to forge strong relationships.
* Commitment to promoting sustainability and community welfare.
