Overview
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Travelling Groom to work within our current travelling team at our successful dual-purpose yard in the Midlands.
The successful candidate will have a full driving license (clean preferred) and be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes. You will be required to drive a 3.5T horsebox. Previous experience/relevant qualifications for travelling horses would be desirable. The ability to take responsibility and work well under pressure, as well as turning horses out to a high standard, is very important.
Working hours may vary, including some evenings and weekends as/when required to cover race days. The successful candidate will be required to ride out when not racing, so we are looking for someone who is also a confident and capable rider with relevant previous experience. Every other weekend and Thursday afternoon off.
