Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust's Operational Transformation Team. We seek highly motivated, innovative individuals with experience in project management, operations, and analytics to lead a challenging transformation programme. You will play a key role in implementing strategic and operational plans in partnership with other organizations.
You will be accountable to the Chief Operating Officer and work closely with CBU Managers, clinical directors, and lead nurses to drive change aligned with the Trust’s values and governance. The role involves overseeing linked CIP programmes and monitoring progress through the Finance team.
Main duties of the job
As a member of the Operational Transformation Team, your responsibilities include effective planning, delivery, and monitoring of projects supported by the Trust’s transformation programmes.
* Develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders to achieve portfolio outcomes.
* Provide leadership and guidance on project management and monitoring.
* Analyze information and risks to inform decision-making.
* Utilize finance and performance data to identify areas for CIP and transformation.
* Support CBU teams to manage changes smoothly and effectively.
* Ensure project adherence to best practices and standard project management approaches.
* Maintain effective communication links across finance, HR, operations, and transformation teams.

Person Specification
Experience
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject
* Masters level study or equivalent experience
* Experience working within the NHS
* Understanding of acute patient pathways and service delivery
* Knowledge of service improvement tools and techniques
* Experience monitoring change and facilitating staff in adapting practices
* Ongoing professional development
* Knowledge of clinical and corporate governance and risk management systems
* Experience working in an NHS acute environment
* Experience using clinical and patient administration systems
Qualifications
* Interpersonal, diplomacy, and facilitation skills
* Ability to work at pace, establish relationships, and develop team working
* Excellent communication skills across various mediums
