Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and execute events from conception to completion, ensuring all details are attended to.
* Liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions.
* Manage budgets and timelines effectively while maintaining high standards of quality.
* Upsell additional services and products to enhance the guest experience.
* Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and staff to ensure seamless event delivery.
* Oversee on-site event management, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
* Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in event coordination or related fields such as hospitality or guest services.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction.
* Time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of fundraising techniques is a plus.
* A background in restaurant or hotel operations is highly desirable.
