This position addresses all aspects of direct and indirect material storage necessary to support Wimborne operations. Job duties include leadership and performance of all logistics activities related to inbound/outbound material movement, shipping/receiving and inventory storage systems.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for establishing and implementing short‑ and long‑term logistic strategies that provide for “Lean” movement of material and product (domestic and international). Maintains practices to achieve bill of material and stock accuracy in SAP.
* Arranges the daily activities associated with engine release, kitting, sales orders, goods receipts, stock locating, grief resolution and other related warehouse management activities.
* Reports all store metrics at the E.O.S. daily review meeting.
* Problem solves in a reactive environment to find root causes and develop permanent solutions to keep the warehouse critical activity monitor up to date.
* Assists with the annual stock‑take and supplies all accounts with relevant information.
* Proactively improves end‑to‑end processes in line with CPS activities, maximizing pull in the value stream before and after production.
* Ensures that store personnel have adequate safety training and all store procedures documented.
* Carries out monthly 1‑to‑1’s with team members and monitors goal achievement.
* Maintains up‑to‑date computer information on kit and bin locations within the store and trackside.
* Focuses on safety of all employees, conducts weekly audit reviews of standard work.
* Promotes a 5s culture within the stores and reports findings weekly.
* Keeps the training matrix up to date and verifies licenses are valid.
Qualifications
* Strong working knowledge of eSAP Warehouse Management.
* Experience in material, inventory control and manufacturing operations.
* Knowledge of company products and strong analytical skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, Power BI.
* Experience with SAP HANA/ECC inventory‑managed processes.
