Oliver Wyman’s Insurance and Asset Management practice draws upon our industry expertise, strategic thinking, analytical insight and market‑leading intellectual capital to create value for leading property and casualty, life, and health insurers and reinsurers. We also help private capital clients to identify and evaluate opportunities in the insurance space to deliver superior returns on their funds.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibility of this role is project management, where you will lead the team through an efficient and effective problem‑solving process, guiding them from initial thoughts to a solution. You will ensure that recommendations are appropriate, practical, sensible, relevant, and cohesive. This position requires strategic thought leadership, as well as a strong command of technical and operational execution. Excellent communication skills, the ability to mentor junior team members, and the capacity to build strong relationships are essential.

* Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with a top‑tier consulting firm or alternatively, minimum 3 years of experience working at a large insurer, with an emphasis on insurance and asset management expertise
* Knowledge of finance and / or risk management topics, including technical aspects such as Solvency II/UK internal models and credit risk modelling
* Proven track record in project management, coupled with strong experience in effectively managing teams
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills
* Outstanding written and oral communication skills in both formal and informal settings
* Track record of taking the initiative, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills and put the ones you’ve already got to good use
* Demonstrated creativity, capable of generating innovative ideas to solve our clients' most pressing challenges
* Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
