This is a full-time position with an immediate or January start, working with secondary-aged students (11–16) who have severe autism and Asperger’s.

Your Responsibilities
As an SEN Teacher, your role will include:
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to students with autism and Asperger’s
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Implementing strategies to encourage participation and progress
* Supporting students in developing resilience, confidence, and independence
* Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure consistent support

What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Minimum 6 months of childcare experience, ideally supporting children with SEN needs
* A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to teaching
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence – due to the rural location, driving is essential
