Tasks
As the Global Head of Bids & Proposals you will be tasked with managing and overseeing the global commercial and technical resources assigned to the Bid team. Your main tasks will be to:
1. Create and maintain a calendar of upcoming work.
2. Champion the entire RFQ / RFI process initially from opportunity to delivery of a high quality submission to the Customer, internally or externally.
3. Receive, produce and respond to Major Requests for Quotation (RFQ)
4. Support and continuously improve our RFQs and general estimations
5. Manage and oversee the creation and compilation of all Bids, Proposal and RFI’s, including rates, contract terms and conditions
6. Work over a range of countries and different departments, to find the best supply chain solutions, for our customers
7. Assure a qualified customer experience is offered, by our AIPL team
8. Development of a Team, together with our HR department
Requirements
9. Minimum experience of 5 years in logistics and freight forwarding
10. Strong experience when working with Tenders, ideally involving Project Cargo
11. Superior communication skills
12. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Software products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
13. You have a proactive, organizational and analytical work ethic, while working under high pressured situations
14. Highly skilled in Proposal writing and management
15. Good problem solving competencies and have a diverse skillset in project cargo
