This flexible contract is perfect for a clinician who has availability to pick up adhoc shifts dependent on demand of the GP Surgery.</p><p><b>Contract:</b> Adhoc - shifts available dependent on demand of the service<br/><b>Location:</b> Nottingham, NG16<br/><b>Hours:</b> 9am-5:30pm (30 min break)<br/><b>Pay:</b>£32 LTD p.h / £28 PAYE include p.h.<br/><b>System:</b> SystmOne (S1)</p><h3>Job Summary</h3><p>The Practice Nurse will work as part of the primary care team to provide high-quality nursing care to the practice population. The role involves delivering a range of clinical services including chronic disease management, health promotion, screening, immunisations, wound care, and supporting patients to improve and maintain their health and wellbeing.</p><h3>Clinical Duties</h3><ul><li>Deliver routine nursing care and treatment to patients within agreed clinical protocols.</li><li>Undertake chronic disease management clinics, including diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease reviews.</li><li>Perform health assessments and NHS Health Checks.</li><li>Administer routine and travel vaccinations in accordance with national guidelines.</li><li>Carry out cervical cytology screening.</li><li>Provide wound care, dressings, and management of minor injuries.</li><li>Undertake venepuncture, ECGs, spirometry, blood pressure monitoring, and other clinical procedures as required.</li></ul><h3>Essential Requirements</h3><ul><li>Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and experience working within a GP Surgery.</li><li>Experience working within General Practice or Primary Care.</li><li>Competent in chronic disease management, immunisations, cytology and wound dressing.</li><li>Confident using SystmOne.</li></ul><p>For more information, please email Eleanor on (url removed) or call (phone number removed).</p></div>
