 
        Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a high-growth, dynamic client based in Central Manchester, as they look to recruit their first dedicated Credit Controller. This is a brand new role and a brilliant opportunity to take ownership of the credit control function in a fast-paced, forward-thinking business. This isn’t your typical credit control job – the focus is just as much on building strong relationships as it is on collecting cash. You’ll be the bridge between Finance and clients across the UK and US, working closely with internal teams and customers to ensure timely payments, resolve queries, and maintain positive working relationships. Location: Central Manchester Hybrid Salary: Circa £35,000 Hybrid & Flexible Working: 3 days per week covering US hours (choose 1PM–9PM or 2PM–10PM). On these days, you’ll work from home, continuing from home for the remainder. 2 days per week are standard UK hours. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Take ownership of the end to end credit control process, proactively chasing current and overdue debt via phone and email Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers to ensure timely payments and amicable resolution of queries Collaborate closely with the wider Finance, Sales, and Customer service teams. Monitor aged debtor ledgers, providing regular reports and updates to the Finance Manager and Finance Director Investigate and resolve billing or payment issues efficiently, working cross-functionally to identify and address root causes Manage problematic debt, escalating complex issues where necessary while driving resolution Support the cash allocation process and ensure accurate and timely application of payments Assess and monitor customer credit risk, recommending appropriate credit limits in line with company policy Identify opportunities to streamline and improve internal credit control processes, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement Candidate Specification: Minimum 2 years’ experience in B2B credit control Proven ability to manage and build relationships with a customer-first approach Excellent communication skills – confident liaising with both UK and international clients Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Proactive and solutions-focused mindset Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment desirable IND1
