Brewhaus is a busy and well-established pub in Glasgow's West End, known for live sport, events and a high-energy atmosphere. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Bar Staff to join our team.

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and possess a strong understanding of food and beverage operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing excellent service to our guests while honing your skills in the hospitality industry. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or bar settings is highly desirable, along with a solid foundation in food safety and food production. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring fair remuneration for your efforts.
Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, soft drinks, and specialised drinks
* Assist with food preparation and presentation when required
* Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and fully stocked at all times
* Take orders from customers efficiently and accurately
* Supervise junior staff members and assist with team management as needed
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all operations
* Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately
* Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
* Support the overall smooth running of the bar area during shifts
Skills
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes
* Previous supervising or team management experience in a restaurant or bar environment
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
* Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate colleagues and manage busy periods
* Familiarity with kitchen experience, culinary techniques, or hotel service is advantageous
* Organised with keen attention to detail to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation
* Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism
