Admissions Assistants x 3
As an Admissions Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a responsive, accurate, and applicant-focused admissions service across both international and UK markets. Working within the Directorate of Student Recruitment and Admissions, you will support the day-to-day processing of applications, ensuring decisions are made in line with University policies, sector regulations, and service level agreements (SLAs). This is a hands-on role requiring excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. You will work closely with Admissions Officers, Managers, and academic colleagues to maintain data integrity, manage application pipelines, and contribute to a consistent and high-quality applicant experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Processing applications in line with published entry criteria and regulatory requirements.
* Maintaining accurate applicant records using systems such as SITS, Enroly, and CRM.
* Supporting key admissions processes including Confirmation, CAS issuance, and Clearing.
* Conducting document verification checks and liaising with UCAS and internal stakeholders.
* Responding to complex queries and complaints with professionalism and clarity.
* Monitoring turnaround times and escalating delays or risks to senior colleagues.
* Assisting in the preparation of reports and data summaries to support recruitment planning.
* Participating in applicant engagement activities such as Open Days and webinars.
* Supporting continuous improvement of admissions systems and processes.
What We’re Looking For
* A-levels or equivalent qualifications.
* Experience working in a Higher Education admissions team.
* Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
* High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
* Experience using student systems such as SITS and e:Vision.
* Understanding of UKVI compliance and international qualifications (desirable).
* A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and service delivery.

Additional Information
* Full-time role with two designated office-based days per week.
* Additional on-campus presence may be required during peak periods.
* Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00.
