We are recruiting on behalf of our client who are looking for an experienced Finance Manager with a strong commercial and operational mindset to lead their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a proven track record of managing multiple staff members.
We are looking for someone who wants to the opportunity to grow with the company to the position of Financial Controller / Financial Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the financial operations of the organisation, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, ensuring their development and performance.
Develop and implement financial and data driven strategies to support the organisation's goals and objectives .
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for decision-making.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Utilise new digital / cloud based technology to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency across the group.
Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is preferred.
Proven experience in a finance management role, with a track record of managing multiple staff members.
Strong commercial and operational acumen.
Proficiency in financial software and technology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in the care sector in the United Kingdom is a significant advantage.
Salary: 45-50k/year Depending on experience
AL: 20 days holidays + 8 Bank holidays
Mon-Fri 9-5
