Salary: Main Scale. Full or Part time permanent role Required from 1 st January 2026 ‘Parkside Middle School welcomes everyone. We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Science Teacher who is passionate about igniting curiosity and fostering a love for science. As a Science Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping students’ understanding of the world through engaging, high-quality lessons that bring science to life. We believe that science is more than just a subject—it is a gateway to discovery, innovation, and critical thinking. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can create a stimulating learning environment and instil a passion for scientific exploration. You will help to develop and deliver an innovative and progressive curriculum which is supported by a programme of extracurricular and enrichment activities, that ensures that all students—regardless of background or ability—are inspired to achieve their full potential. You will work positively and collaboratively within the department and collectively develop and improve all aspects of teaching and learning in this area. We are looking for an inspirational candidate with proven experience in KS2 and / or KS3. The ideal candidate will be someone who sets high expectations for children, makes learning engaging and enjoyable, ensures that every child is valued and is supported to take opportunities to reach their potential.
