We require an enthusiastic, experienced, and versatile individual to join our busy team to help deliver the maintenance requirements of the marina, from holiday accommodation units to amenity buildings and grounds.
Responsibilities will include:
As a General Maintenance Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our apartments and surrounding areas are maintained to the highest standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Routine Maintenance and Repairs: Conducting regular checks and maintenance tasks within the apartments and communal areas, addressing any issues promptly.
Grounds keeping: Assisting with the upkeep of outdoor spaces, ensuring they are welcoming and well-maintained for our guests.
Guest Support: Providing assistance and support to guests regarding facility-related queries or concerns.
Project Work: Participating in larger maintenance projects or renovations as required, contributing to improvements and upgrades throughout the complex.
About You:
Experience: Previous experience in a property maintenance role is essential. However, we can provide further training in areas if required.
Skills: You're handy with tools, have a keen eye for detail, and possess good DIY skills. You will be familiar with a wide range of property maintenance tasks.
Personality: Friendly, approachable, and a problem-solver at heart. You're willing to go the extra mile to ensure high standards.
Flexibility: Able to work Tuesday to Saturday, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the company.
Driving: A full Clean UK driving licence is beneficial due to the rural location of our complex.

Tewitfield Marina is home to a collection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments offering beautiful views of the Lancaster Canal, most overlooking the Marina with their own private balcony/terrace. We also have 56 moorings for canal boats and cruisers.
