Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:00
Responsibilities
Safely and accurately manufacture and repair pallets and wood products using the tools and equipment provided.
Ensure optimum performance to maximise output whilst complying with customer standards and design specifications as documented in the work orders.
Efficiently set up benches and machines, ensuring all necessary information regarding quality standards and output levels is available so that the role can be carried out correctly and accurately.
Promptly identify and report any problems with equipment to the line manager.
Paint, label or stencil pallets and offload lengths of timber from the saws.
Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties to support timely manufacture of pallets and wood products.
Undertake all tasks delegated by Production Supervisors and Managers on site while adhering to Health and Safety procedures and policies, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment when required.
Work effectively with others, maintain excellent time‑keeping and attendance, and demonstrate a high level of Health and Safety awareness, a can‑do attitude and excellent attention to detail.
