Electrical Contract Manager Exeter, Devon | Permanent, Full-Time Mitie Projects – Building Services Join Mitie’s MEP South Team and lead the delivery of high-quality electrical projects across the region. We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Contract Manager to take ownership of multiple building services projects, from traditional installations to Design & Build schemes. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role within the UK leading facilities management business, known for its commitment to safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Lead electrical projects from pre-construction through to final handover. Manage project planning, resourcing, budgeting, and scheduling. Conduct site visits, client meetings, surveys, and inspections (some travel and overnight stays required). Provide leadership and support to project teams, ensuring high performance and development. Oversee procurement of materials, subcontractors, and suppliers for cost-effective delivery. Maintain strong client relationships and resolve any issues or disputes. Prepare and present Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports to senior management. Collaborate with Design, Estimating, and Subcontract teams to ensure seamless project execution. Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence. Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and industry standards (IEE, NICEIC, JCT, NEC). Maintain accurate documentation, permits, and compliance registers. Identify opportunities for additional works and revenue growth. ✅ What We’re Looking For NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation (essential). HNC / HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (preferred). Proven experience in a similar role (Contract Manager or Project Manager). Strong understanding of Health & Safety and CDM Regulations. Commercially aware with solid financial and project management skills. Excellent communication and client relationship management.
