About the role:
The Regional Operations Co-Ordinator is responsible for ensuring operational rigour, regulatory compliance and process excellence across Otto Car's regional expansion and delivery workflows.
The role will act as a central hub for documentation, compliance oversight, playbook management and process improvement, creating the structure and best practice frameworks that enable regional teams to operate at scale.
Key Responsibilities
:
Operational Support & Administration
* Provide day to day coordination across regional operations, ensuring accurate tracking of vehicle delivery and licensing activities.
* Maintain high standards of document management, including licence applications, compliance submissions and customer records.
* Own updates to delivery pipelines, ensuring timely communication of progress to stakeholders.
* Act as an escalation point for administrative and operational blockers.
Compliance & Council Liaison
* Build and maintain expertise on local authority licensing and compliance requirements, with a focus on ensuring Otto Car stays ahead of regulatory change.
* Submit and track licence applications, proactively following up with councils to prevent delays.
* Maintain a live repository of regional authority requirements to inform internal teams and customers.
* Liaise directly with councils to resolve compliance issues, escalating to leadership where necessary.
Playbook Management & Best Practice
* Develop, manage and continuously improve the Regional Operations Playbook.
* Translate regulatory and operational requirements into practical, step by step guidance for teams.
* Embed best practice across processes, ensuring consistency in execution across regions.
* Partner with leadership and frontline teams to ensure playbooks remain current, relevant and aligned with business needs.
Business Process & Continuous Improvement
* Review and refine regional workflows to identify efficiency gains and risk reduction opportunities.
* Standardise administrative processes to improve accuracy, compliance and speed of execution.
* Provide structured reporting on operational KPIs, surfacing risks and opportunities to management.
* Benchmark Otto's regional operations against market best practice, proactively recommending improvements.
