Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic and flexible Secondary Supply Teachers to work across a well-established and supportive multi-academy trust of schools in the Sheffield area.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexible work, varied classroom experience, or pathways into long-term and permanent roles within a respected trust.
The Role
As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will:
1. Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential KS5 opportunities depending on your subject specialism).
2. Follow pre-set lesson plans and schemes of work where provided.
3. Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management in line with school policies.
4. Adapt confidently to different school environments across the trust.
5. Support pupils in achieving positive academic outcomes.
Both day-to-day and longer-term assignments are available.
About You
We are looking for teachers who:
6. Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
7. Have recent experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
8. Are confident teaching their specialist subject or providing general cover.
9. Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
10. Are reliable, professional, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
