About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will report to the Principal Accountant within the Accounting section and work as part of the wider finance function, supporting financial operations. Your role will be to provide accountancy support to Heads of Service & Budget Managers. You will assist these Managers in managing their financial affairs, which includes preparing the Revenue Budgets and Final Accounts, as well as regular monitoring of specified services during the annual budget cycle, closure of accounts, and monthly monitoring reporting cycles. This work will be carried out in accordance with set deadlines.
Your role will also include participation in specified projects, giving ad hoc financial advice, and proposing options and solutions for dealing with financial issues raised by departmental projects. Your manager will empower you to appl...
