M&E Operational PlannerLocation: LeatherheadHours: 37.5 hours a week / Monday-FridaySalary: Salary Up to £31,531.50 DOE + benefits including free parkingThe RoleWe are looking for an organised and forward-thinking M&E Operational Planner to join our clients expanding team at their Head Office in Leatherhead.You will play a key role in coordinating and scheduling daily work for engineers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and resources are used effectively. This role is essential in balancing demand, managing operational pressures and supporting overall service performance.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & SchedulingAllocate and schedule daily work orders based on priority and availabilityBalance engineer workloads (12+ jobs per day per engineer)Review completed jobs and arrange return visits where neededProactively manage risks to SLAsResource CoordinationMonitor engineer availability and identify capacity gapsEscalate concerns to Field Operations Managers (FOMs)Adjust schedules in response to operational needsCommunication & Stakeholder LiaisonLiaise with engineers, FOMs and internal teamsResolve scheduling conflicts and competing prioritiesCommunicate appointment changes or delays to tenants professionallyPerformance & SystemsTrack engineer progress throughout the dayMaintain accurate records in Business Central (BC)Identify opportunities to improve planning processesFor this role you will need:Experience planning workloads in high-volume operational environmentsAbility to manage competing priorities under pressureStrong organisational and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsExperience using CRM or workforce management systemsHigh attention to detailGCSEs (or equivalent) in English and MathsPlanning or operations qualificationFirst Aid, Fire Warden or Display Screen trainingExperience in process improvement or trend analysisWhat Success Looks LikeSLAs are protected through proactive planningOperational risks are identified early and managed effectivelyEngineers and managers trust your judgementPlanning processes continuously improveRefer a friend and earn a retail voucher worth up to £500!Unfortunately, due to high numbers of applications, we are only able to respond to shortlisted applicants.
