As aSeniorPayroll Specialist (SeniorAssociate) at Kainos, you willbe responsible forsupporting services for our global payroll function. You will report to theGroupPayroll Manager but work as part of a wider Finance team within a fast-paced PLC environment to effectively deliver support for the core business.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

1. Preparing internationalend to endpayroll data for each pay period ina timelyandaccuratemanner

2. Effective liaising with international payroll providers

3. Accurate processing of all permanent, variable,new joiner,terminationor benefits payments

4. Accurate processing of backdated pay, unpaid leave, holiday calculations

5. Accurate processing and reconciliation of pension deductions.

6. Generatingappropriate reportsfrom Workday systemand any other platforms asrequired

7. Responsible foraccuratedata entry on input files

8. Assistwith first and second levelreview of all payrollreportsacross the group

9. Responsible for leadingsign off meetings with People Support.

10. Adhering to strict deadlines

11. Preparation and submission of Payment Requests for alljurisdictions

12. AssistingtheGroupPayroll Managerin complex payroll matters

13. Participating in continuous improvement project work

14. Undertaking general administrative support tasks, such as online filing and document management

MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS:

15. Minimum4years of experience in a payroll environment

16. Ability to work efficiently and comfortably in prioritising your workload in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines

17. A self-starter who can work on their own initiatives with minimal supervision

18. Excellentverbal and written communication skills with both staff and external stakeholders

19. We all work in teams here in Kainos – a proven ability ofstrong teamskills, including taking direction from others, is crucial

20. Highly flexible, including willingness to work flexible hours at peak times

21. Excellentknowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel,Outlookand Word.

22. Ability to carry out responsibilitiesin accordance withcompany policies,proceduresand processes.

23. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

DESIRABLE:

24. CIPP qualified or equivalent

25. Sound knowledge of Workday, or a similar accounting package

26. Experience in processing UK payroll
