An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Civil & Structural CAD Technician to join a well-established and respected engineering consultancy based in Gorseinon, Swansea. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of projects across residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial sectors, contributing to high-quality designs and innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
Detail and model a variety of building, infrastructure and utility projects.
Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure accurate drawing representation.
Produce layout drawings, reinforcement detailing, and scheduling.
Draft underground drainage systems, including S104 applications, SUDS, and Highways Section 38 and 278 applications.
Mentor and support junior team members.
Attend design team meetings to provide technical input and ensure alignment with client and team expectations.
-Site visits and client meetings.As a Civil and Structural Engineer you are required to have the following;
ONC/OND or HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD with a proven track record of high-quality draughtsmanship.
Experience with infrastructure, utilities or electrical cabling.
Knowledge of industry drafting standards.
Familiarity with Revit, Navisworks or AutoCAD or Microstation
Strong IT skills, including Office 365, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driving licence and access to a car for site visits.Benefits
