Your role
As a BTP assistant kitchen manager you will be a vital park of the magic that keeps bringing our customers back From busy brunches to beautiful plating, you'll take pride in every plate, knowing your work makes a real impact — on customers, your team, and the planet. Our food is built on fresh, vibrant ingredients, and we care as much about how it's made as how it looks and tastes. You will be our Kitchen managers second, who they learn on for support and aid growth within the team and café
Responsibilities
* Running the line with confidence and ease, oven, pans and service.
* Prepping efficiently and safely with stock systems & standards.
* Delivering top-tier food with pride — if it's not perfect, it doesn't go out.
* Effectively running a brigade of chefs through busy services.
* To assist/ support the Kitchen manager.
* To step in and be able to cover the kitchen manager in their absence, whilst holding their standards and value.
* To teach, support and grow with your team.
* Taking care of orders as per the PNL and P&P.
Skills
* Proven experience in food production and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting
* Strong management skills with previous supervising experience
* Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices
* Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and guide kitchen staff
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
* Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is essential
* Barista experience is a plus for establishments serving coffee or beverages
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
