The Role:
Followingthe retirement of one of our GPs, an exciting opportunity has arisen for aSalaried GP to join the welcoming and well-established team at PresteigneMedical Practice, part of the Shropdoc family. This is more than a clinical role, itsan opportunity to shape new models of rural primary care and make a real impacton local communities.
The successfulpost-holder will work as a salaried GP providing primary care for approximately3,600 patients. Presteigne is part ofthe Mid-Powys Primary Care Cluster, which has a combined list size of around31,000 patients.
Main duties of the job
* Deliver high-quality clinical care via consultations,triage, and home visits.
* Manage long-term conditions and supervise clinicalstaff.
* Prescribe in line with local and national guidance.
* Contribute to audits, governance, and qualityimprovement.
* Mentor and lead within a multidisciplinary team.
* Full GMC Registration with License to Practice.
* Relevant higher degree ie MRCGP or equivalent.
* On the GMC GP Register & Welsh Medical PerformersList.
* Experience in NHS General Practice & Primary Care.
* Knowledge of UK hospital systems (or equivalent).
* Excellent communication, IT, and team-working skills.
* Ability to work flexibly and commit to on-call duties.

* Deliver a first-class clinical service, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care.
* Provide directclinical care through triage, face-to-face consultations, telephone/videoconsultations, and home visits.
