Whats the role? Working within the Engineering Department the role of Electrical Contracts Designer is to produce the electrical designs for the application of BRUSH Switchgears products. This would include Schematic/Wiring Diagrams, varying in degrees of complexity.Key Responsibilities:
* Working to instruction and/or specifications produced by the Applications Engineers
* Produce, design and/or modify drawings
* Create detailed schematic designs based on the customer requirements - designs to include CT/VT design, Electrical Interlocking Designs, Auto changeover Designs, control (Trip/Close) designs.
* Liaise directly with Manufacturing and Quality team members on issues relating to drawings.
What were looking for:
* Qualified to HNC level in an Electrical Engineering Discipline
* AutoCAD 2D experience
* Knowledge of electrical principles
* Competent using Microsoft office - excel/word/outlook
