We are seeking a proactive IT Coordinator to provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to users across the Group. You'll be responsible for resolving escalated incidents and service requests, supporting user administration and day‑to‑day IT operations, and liaising with third‑party suppliers to ensure issues are progressed effectively.
This role is varied and responsive to business need, requiring strong troubleshooting skills, structured working practices, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support, resolving escalated incidents and service requests from the IT helpdesk
* Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, user access, application and mobile device issues
* Ensure all tickets are accurately updated, progressed and resolved in line with agreed priorities and timescales
* Administer starters, leavers and internal role changes, including account setup and maintenance in Active Directory and WINI
* Liaise with third‑party suppliers and support partners, raising, escalating and tracking issues through to resolution
* The procurement of all IT assets and the processing of purchase orders and invoices related to purchases
* Maintain accurate IT asset records, supporting the issuing, recovery and tracking of IT equipment
* Carry out routine IT operational and system administration tasks within agreed procedures
* Support IT projects and improvement initiatives as directed by the IT Manager
* Perform IT checks and audits at Wernick offices as required
* Provide occasional out‑of‑hours or site‑based support, including overnight stays when necessary
* Undertake any other reasonable duties required to support the effective operation of the IT function
Desired Skills and Experience
* Proven experience working in a 2nd line IT support role, resolving issues escalated from a 1st line service desk
* Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop, user access, mobile devices, desktop phones and business applications
* Experience using IT helpdesk or ticketing systems, with clear understanding of prioritisation and escalation
* Working knowledge of Active Directory user and group administration
* Experience administering starters, leavers and user changes within defined processes
* Ability to liaise effectively with third‑party IT support providers and suppliers, tracking issues through to resolution
* Understanding of IT asset management processes, including issuing, tracking and recovering equipment
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
* Experience supporting AutoDesk suite of products (desirable)
* Full UK Driving License
