Senior Quantity Surveyor
We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established team in London, delivering high-value projects across the city and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled professional to take ownership of complex commercial activities and support junior colleagues in their development.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work independently on both pre- and post-contract activities, providing expert advice and managing key project deliverables. You will engage directly with clients, providing commercial insight and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead measurement and production of Bills of Quantities using MMHW, CESMM, NRM, or relevant standards.
·Prepare cost estimates, reports, tender documentation, and Tender Reports with supporting analysis.
·Manage commercial, legal, and contractual matters in collaboration with project teams.
·Attend client meetings, present findings, and make recommendations for improvement.
·Mentor and support junior surveyors, promoting professional growth.
·Ensure accurate documentation and maintain cost and performance records.
Skills & Experience:
·Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent (minimum 2:1).
·MRICS preferred or working towards membership.
·Strong background in cost management, contract administration, variations, and final accounts.
·Knowledge of alternative procurement routes and standard forms of contract.
·Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
·Confident, innovative, and proactive in making recommendations.
·Team player with a passion for mentoring junior staff.
