We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated individual to join the fostering team as a Fostering Recruitment Officer to cover maternity leave.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the planning and delivery of recruitment activities for potential foster carers (mainstream, connected persons and short breaks). This includes events and activities within the community and engaging directly with members of the public to recruit new foster carers.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and understanding of lived experiences of children in care and be able to relay this to new fostering applicants to decide if they have the skills and attributes needed to foster. Some evening and weekend work may be required therefore the successful candidate will have flexibility.
