We’re at the forefront of sophisticated metering and data acquisition solutions for the power industry, developing and delivering complex network solutions in Dynamic System Monitoring, Power Quality, and Generator performance monitoring. We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our Rochester team, taking ownership of electrical and mechanical testing for our advanced metering solutions.
Please note: this role requires candidates to have current and permanent right to work in the UK. We are unable to support visa applications for this position.
What part will you play?
* Lead electrical panel testing and validation
* Manage test area operations and schedules
* Perform insulation resistance tests and secondary injections
* Coordinate witness acceptance tests
* Support occasional on-site commissioning
* Drive quality control and documentation
* Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project objectives
What does it take to be successful in this role?
* Electrical/Systems Engineering background
* Experience with high voltage systems
* Strong problem-solving abilities
* Excellent project coordination skills
* Understanding of electrical schematics
