Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a forward-thinking primary school in Blackpool, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within their brand-new SEN Hub.

The Role:
This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1, supporting pupils with identified special educational needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN
* Assisting the class teacher and SENCO in delivering individual learning plans
* Supporting children with communication, social, and emotional development
* Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
* Supporting pupils with personal care needs where required
You will play a vital role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Requirements:
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must:
* Have previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
* Be confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
* Be comfortable assisting with personal care
* Demonstrate patience, empathy, and resilience
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Relevant experience may include work in schools, care settings, nurseries, or specialist provisions.
