We are seeking an experienced, innovative nurse to join the Mental Health Service Practice Development Nurse (PDN) Team within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the UK's largest healthcare systems. This role involves working across prison healthcare, inpatient, and community mental health services within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and six Health & Social Care Partnerships (HSCP).
The position offers a Mon-Fri 9-5 shift pattern and requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to quality assure and support professional and practice nursing development. You will report to the Professional Nurse Lead and contribute to the delivery of the nursing work-plan, working closely with stakeholders including third sector organizations to enhance nursing practice and care quality.
Key responsibilities include developing nursing teams through coaching and mentoring, fostering a responsive learning culture, and providing visible leadership across services. Your practice will be rooted in values of compassionate, safe, and person-centred care.
