Risk and Controls Manager Location: Bristol or York Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 This is a great job for someone who has experience with operational risk and control management and is keen to deepen their expertise in data and marketing. You might have worked in a risk, compliance, or data-related role and are ready to take on more responsibility in a growing and dynamic area. A bit about the job: You'll play a key role in supporting our data teams to manage risks and controls effectively. This includes maintaining risk and control registers, assisting with assessments, and helping to design and improve controls. You'll also contribute to projects to ensure data risks are identified and managed appropriately. You'll work within the C&M Data Governance and Management team, collaborating with colleagues across Data, Digital, Marketing, and Legal. This is a fantastic opportunity to strengthen your knowledge of data governance, risk management, and privacy-and make a meaningful impact in a fast-evolving area. Skills and experience we're looking for: Experience working with risk and control frameworks or compliance processes. Ability to maintain risk and control records, run reports, and support dashboards (experience with Qlik or similar tools is a bonus). Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable learning new tools and systems (experience with risk management tooling like IBM OpenPages is helpful but not essential).
