Location: North-West England Salary: From £60,000 dependent on qualifications and experience Contract: Full-time, permanent Working Hours: Monday-Friday, typically 9am-5pm (with some flexibility to meet the demands of the role) Travel: Regular travel between homes situated in the North of England and Head Office based in Blackpool Therapeutic Care Limited is an expanding residential therapeutic childcare provider, based in the North-West of England. We care deeply that each child and young person is provided with the best possible life chances to grow, develop and thrive. We strive to provide a highly nurturing, trauma-informed and trauma-responsive approach to childcare in small, therapeutic and homely environments, for children and young people presenting with a range of emotional, behavioural and social needs. We are looking for two Clinical Leads to work alongside each other and oversee our therapeutic provision, lead and support a team of psychotherapists, manage clinical governance, and ensure high-quality, evidence-based practice across our homes. You will hold a clinical caseload, provide supervision, contribute to assessments and formulations, and work closely with operational colleagues to ensure excellent care and outcomes for our young people. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading and developing the clinical service and therapeutic model Managing, supervising and supporting psychotherapists Overseeing assessments, risk management and therapeutic interventions Delivering and shaping training, audits, research and service development Contributing to strategic planning and stakeholder communication (including Ofsted and local authorities) Minimum Requirements: Relevant professional qualification at a minimum level 6 (Degree Level). Substantial experience working directly with children in a counselling or psychological capacity. Previous experience leading, mentoring and supervising a team of clinical staff. UKCP/BACP registration. A compassionate, authentic and approachable team player. Proven ability to plan, deliver and audit specialist intervention programs. Training and experience in trauma and attachment-based interventions, such as DDP, NVR, Theraplay, EMDR, or trauma-focused CBT Strong understanding of legislation and safeguarding practices within residential childcare. Exceptional communication and IT skills, alongside proficiency in record-keeping. A valid UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
