* Location: West Suffolk College - Bury St Edmunds
* Full-time: 1 FTE - 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year - Permanent
* Salary: £28,443 - £40,350 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

We are seeking a Lecturer in Computer Games Design and Development to join our Digital and Creative Technologies department. This is an exciting opportunity to teach across a range of programmes—potentially up to Level 6—within a dynamic and forward-thinking faculty.
You will deliver engaging, industry-relevant content covering areas such as gameplay mechanics, level design, interactive systems, and digital storytelling. Combining technical knowledge with creative passion, you'll empower students to develop skills needed to thrive in the fast-paced games industry.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Delivering and assessing various games design and development modules
* Leading and shaping course content as Programme Lead for Games courses
* Supporting students in developing technical and creative problem-solving abilities
* Participating in curriculum planning, course development, and industry engagement
* Mentoring new team members and contributing to short course delivery
* Building relationships with employers, schools, and industry partners to keep courses current
