The Opportunity
Health & Safety is our top priority at Caterpillar. The Health & Safety Coach will support our vision to foster a safety-first culture. You will help improve health and safety practices, advise, encourage, and train colleagues to work safely.
The Stockton facility uses advanced technology for fabricating major structures for use at our Leicester plant.
Responsibilities:
* Provide coaching on health, safety, and environmental issues.
* Support workplace improvement initiatives, including workshops, new equipment, and relocations.
* Assist supervisors with risk assessments, incident investigations, and training.
* Participate in safety and environmental meetings.
An individual training program will be tailored based on your needs, potentially including training like train-the-trainer, risk assessment, or accident investigation.
Qualifications:

What You Can Demonstrate:
* Proactive safety engagement and participation in safety meetings.
* Ability to deliver training, coaching, and mentoring.
* Strong communication skills.
* Effective time management.
Preferred Qualifications:
* NEBOSH
* IOSH
Interview Process:
Telephone interviews will be conducted from the posting date, followed by on-site face-to-face interviews after the closing date. The criteria may be enhanced based on application volume.
